Anti-Plagiarism Policy
Similarity Verification Policy
Prisma Library is firmly committed to academic integrity and the originality of its publications. All submissions—books, book chapters, and edited volumes—are screened for similarity using iThenticate – Similarity Check by Crossref. This service compares the content against millions of scholarly publications and academic sources worldwide.
The purpose of this screening is to prevent plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and the unauthorized reuse of previously published material. The editorial team evaluates not only the overall similarity percentage but also the type, provenance, and context of the matches detected in the text.

Acceptable Similarity Levels
Fully acceptable. Matches usually stem from citations, references, technical definitions, or common phrases. The work may proceed to typesetting and publication without additional remarks.
Requires detailed editorial review. May include extensive properly referenced quotations or terminological overlaps. Authors are encouraged to reduce unnecessary repetition before moving forward.
Indicates moderate risk. The Editorial Board will assess whether the overlaps constitute excessive reuse. Revisions may be requested, or publication may be declined if originality is not sufficiently justified.
Deemed unacceptable. The work shows a high probability of plagiarism or recycled material. It will be rejected. A substantially rewritten version may be considered only if a clear improvement in originality is demonstrated.
Note: Final decisions are made by the Prisma Library Editorial Board, which may request clarifications, restructuring, or authorship verification at any stage of the editorial process.
