Anti-Plagiarism Policy
Similarity Check Policy
Prisma Journal upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. To ensure the originality of all submissions, every manuscript is screened using the iThenticate – Similarity Check platform, provided by Crossref. This tool compares the content against millions of published academic works, scientific articles, and reputable web content.
The similarity analysis aims to prevent plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and the misuse of external material. The editorial board evaluates not only the overall similarity percentage but also the nature, context, and source of the matches identified.

Acceptable Similarity Levels
Considered safe and acceptable. This range usually includes bibliographic references, common section headers, and standard terminology. The manuscript can proceed to peer review without concerns.
Requires editorial review. May contain extensive quotations or common expressions. Authors are advised to revise and justify such matches. If properly addressed, the manuscript may proceed.
Represents a moderate risk. The editorial team will conduct a detailed evaluation. The manuscript may be returned for revision or rejected if originality cannot be ensured.
Deemed unacceptable. Indicates a high risk of plagiarism or recycled content. The manuscript will be rejected immediately. Resubmission is possible only after substantial rewriting and justification.
Note: The editorial board reserves the right to request clarifications, rewrites, or proof of authorship at any stage of the editorial process, based on the similarity report.
