The Teacher’s Actions in the Face of School Bullying in Two Primary Schools in Tepic, Nayarit

The objective of this research is to analyze the importance of the teacher's role in situations of school bullying within the classroom, under a qualitative paradigm with a critical dialectical approach of a descriptive and explanatory type, taking as population the teaching and management staff of two primary level educational institutions located in the city of Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico; selected through a non-probabilistic, intentional sampling, considering 2 directors, 2 sub-directors and 19 teachers in front of the group. Whereas, although there is awareness about the existence of school bullying and an initiative by the teaching staff to investigate on their own the corresponding manuals and protocols, there is no prior training nor formal presentation of the materials by the corresponding authorities, which reflects a weakness in the dissemination and training mechanisms regarding the use of the manual as a guide for the intervention of school conflicts.
